Best Paper Award at the COCOA’24 conference to Prof. Gleb Polevoy for his paper “Attaining Equilibria Using Control Sets.”

We are pleased to announce that Prof. Gleb Polevoy, a researcher at our Institute, was awarded the prestigious Best Paper award at The 17th Annual International Conference on Combinatorial Optimization and Applications (COCOA’24). The conference took place from December 6 – 8 this year and brought together prominent researchers from around the world specializing in combinatorial optimization and its applications.

The award-winning work, entitled “Attaining Equilibria Using Control Sets,” was recognized for its innovative approach and significant contribution to the development of this field of science. This is an extremely important achievement not only for Prof. Polevoy, but also for the entire Institute of Computer Science, highlighting the high quality of research conducted at Opole University.
