The Institute of Computer Science at the University of Opole received heartfelt thanks from the Mechanical School Complex in Opole for its participation in the educational project “Days of Polish Science in Mechanics 2025”, which took place from February 19 to March 7, 2025.
During the event, Piotr Dzierwa, Ph.D., assistant professor at the Institute of Computer Science at the UO, gave a lecture entitled “From Czochralski to quantum computers” combining history with the latest developments in computer science. The lecture was extremely well received – the students considered it the best in terms of content selection and manner of presentation among all the lectures given during the “Days of Polish Science”.
The purpose of the event was to introduce young people to the achievements of Poles in science and technology, and to inspire them to creatively develop their own technical passions. The participation of our Institute not only enriched the program of the event, but also made it possible to promote the educational offer of the University of Opole among young mechatronic engineers.
Thank you to the Mechanical School Complex in Opole for your cooperation and warm words! We hope for more joint initiatives.
