Strategic goals

Establish the brand of the Institute of Computer Science of the University of Opole as a leader of IT competence in the region, both in terms of the scientific research conducted and the quality of the education provided

Key activities

Strengthening and developing the potential of the research staff and the quality of the research conducted, as well as increasing the number of publications in renowned journals and conferences in the field of computer science, leading, among other things, to the authorization to confer the doctoral degree in the discipline of computer science
Building the Collegium Informaticum, which is a modern headquarters for the computer science major and discipline
Developing and strengthening cooperation with the environment, through the implementation of joint research projects with the socio-economic environment, the participation of industry experts in the teaching process, the development of cooperation with graduates, as well as contacts with schools and schoolchildren interested in science education
